WISC-V Recommendations
This resource was designed to accompany the ‘Advanced Interpretation of the WISC-V’ webinar for professionals. It includes nine pages of example recommendations, divided up by WISC-V domain. For each domain, compensatory and growth recommendations have been provided; use these to support your client to both compensate for and to grow their skill in areas of weakness.
Please note that these recommendations are written for psychologists, with the intention of linking them directly to the WISC-V framework, so that it is clear why they are being suggested and how they might help. When including these recommendations in your reports, it’s best to remove jargon and relate the recommendation directly to your client (e.g. your client probably doesn’t know what ‘verbal mediation’ is!). Essentially, this resource is designed as a ‘launching off pad’ to help guide you in thinking about what might work for the specific client in front of you.
