Advanced Interpretation of the WISC-V

This training covers:

  1. Underlying cognitive skills and neurobiology underpinning the WISC-V subtests and subdomains.

  2. Functional translation of these skills – what do these skills actually look like at home and school?

  3. Common cognitive profiles for neurodivergent kids (including Autism, ADHD, and learning disorders) and how to identify and interpret these.

  4. Beyond the index scores – what other scores and data should we be looking out for and what do they mean?

  5. Discrepancy analysis discussion, through a case example.

  6. Tips on feedback and reporting of WISC-V results.

  7. Conceptual developments in the WAIS-5 (due for release in Australia and NZ this year) and how these map onto WISC-V domains and concepts.
